Myth Buster: Nuts are plant foods like fruit and vegetables. Nature’s own vitamin pills, they’re jam packed with essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Enjoy a handful with your 2 fruits and 5 veggies every day. Remember 2+5+a handful.

Myth Buster: More and more people are aware of the health benefits of nuts. If you’re unsure of what nuts can do for you, ask your health professional.


Myth Buster: Try eating a handful of nuts (30-50g) each day. Doing so can halve your risk of developing heart disease while still managing your weight.


Myth Buster: You should. Front of pack labelling refers only to total fat content rather than distinguishing between good and bad fats. Nuts contain healthy mono and polyunsaturated fats – which are essential for regulating blood cholesterol.
