NutENews February 2015

Storehouse_Logo_TaglineFINAL Nuts for Life is proud to announce the launch of Storehouse, an online blogger directory of qualified nutrition professionals, providing a hub for nutrition information and advice.

In an Australian-first, this labour of love has been created through a partnership between dietitian Emma Stirling, author of the award winning blog Scoop on Nutrition, Nuts for Life and our PR agency Bite Communications.

We are simply delighted to see Storehouse come to life. It’s a platform that really showcases the talent and wealth of nutrition knowledge in this country. We’re excited to bring all of this extensive knowledge and expertise together into one interactive hub, so everyone can source reliable, up-to-date nutrition information from qualified professionals to cut through the confusion.

Bloggers must be qualified nutrition professionals either Accredited Practising Dietitians, Accredited Sports Dietitians or Registered Nutritionists but we also like to encourage student dietitians so they too can join and we suggest they find a writing mentor to help.

Storehouse is free to use and free to join so we encourage any qualified nutrition blogger to join up and all our NutENews readers to browse the site.

Each year Storehouse will recognise the best in the business, with annual awards sponsored by Nuts for Life recognising the Best Nutrition Blog and Best Food-tographer of the year.  Stay tuned for more information from Storehouse and the annual award series.

Storehouse is being launched on the 5th Anniversary of Emma’s Scoop on Nutrition blog so we would also like to congratulate her on a wonderful achievement.

And while there is so much to cheer about, my 10 year anniversary with Nuts for Life has just clicked over and our consultant dietitian Liz Munn has also been with Nuts for Life for 5 years.

Well done to us all!

Keep on nibbling your daily healthy handful of nuts
