Choc Walnut Truffles

  • 1⁄2 cup (80g) walnuts plus extra for coating
  • 22 fresh pitted dates
  • 1⁄4 cup raw cacao powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Pinch sea salt
  • Pinch of cinnamon


  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor and process for 2–3 minutes or until the mixture is smooth and comes together.
  2. Roll tablespoons of the mixture into balls and finely chop the extra walnuts and roll in to coat.


Keep in the fridge for 2-3 weeks.


Makes 22 balls, 3.6g nuts per ball.
