Ingredients
- 4 medium green or brown pears, unpeeled
- ¼ cup pistachios and pine nuts, mixed
- 2 tbsp raisins
- ¼ tsp mixed spice
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 4 tbsp low fat Greek style yoghurt
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Halve each pear and remove the core. Place on a baking tray lined with non-stick baking paper and spray with oil spray.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine the pistachios, raisins and mixed spice. Add the maple syrup and toss to coat.
- Remove the pears from the oven and spoon the nut mixture into the cavities.
- Return to the oven and continue to cook for 10-15 minutes until softened.
- Serve warm or cooled with 1 tbsp of Greek yoghurt.
Tips
Serve with liqueur or dessert wine, if desired.
