Ingredients

  • 4 medium green or brown pears, unpeeled
  • ¼ cup pistachios and pine nuts, mixed
  • 2 tbsp raisins
  • ¼ tsp mixed spice
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 4 tbsp low fat Greek style yoghurt

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Halve each pear and remove the core. Place on a baking tray lined with non-stick baking paper and spray with oil spray.
  3. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, combine the pistachios, raisins and mixed spice. Add the maple syrup and toss to coat.
  5. Remove the pears from the oven and spoon the nut mixture into the cavities.
  6. Return to the oven and continue to cook for 10-15 minutes until softened.
  7. Serve warm or cooled with 1 tbsp of Greek yoghurt.

Tips

Serve with liqueur or dessert wine, if desired.
