Cooking with kids
Cooking with kids is great fun, and just a little messy! It’s also a way for them to learn essential skills – like reading, following directions, and measuring – and practice their fine motor skills, and hand/eye coordination.
Younger kids love to pour and stir, while older children may be able to read and execute a recipe with minimal supervision. Of course, it’s important for an adult to be available to help with sharp utensils, and ovens and stoves.
